On October 10th 2008, I traveled down to Auburn Alabama with my mother Pastor

Linda Acres to a church called True Deliverance Holiness Church. We arrived 2 hours early, so we could get a good seat and believe me it was all ready packed. There was a line of church folks from the building to the parking lot. For what reason if you’re wondering why oh, I’m about to tell you…..Tye Tribbett was in the heezy for Jesus. That’s right the guy that we see on BET on Sunday’s jumping around with movements outta this world for the Lord….Tye Tribbett! But before he hit the stage we were blessed in song by a few other Gospel groups that blessed our soul.

 
Nu Beginning out of Columbus Ga, The Valley Girls {now I know these young ladies} they’re from my home town so REP YOUR CITY and The Holloway and Drake Singers from Camp Hill Ala. Each performance brought down the house; people were crying out to the Lord and having a blessed time. Now when Tye came out he took the level up another notch. This man has so much energy for the Lord you just can’t explain it. Not only does he get his PRAISE ON….he’s also a Minister! Yes, Tye got up on the pulpit dressed in a grey and black shirt, Levis jeans {no belt with a little slack} and some tennis shoes and PREACHED! Oh my God, Tye taught the word, he broke it down, he flipped it and brought it back with understanding! It was awesome; I had a blessed time in the Lord.
