Ladee Storem: How are you Leonie? Leonie: I’m fine thank you. Ladee Storem: Tell the readers about your new clothing line. Leonie: iNsaniTees, Intl is basically a web based Tee-shirt company that caters to men, women; your college and high school age students; but we also cater to your bikers, skateboarders/extreme sports, your underground consumers; it’s basically for anybody who’s not afraid to “think outside the box.” I expect a great clientele of followers not just here in the US but also abroad and that is why we are called “International” because due in part, knock on wood, we will be International known (she giggles). Ladee Storem: So who inspired you to do a T-shirt line? Leonie: {laughter} Well that’s another story…..a mutual friend of mine had his own T-shirt company and basically, I came up with an idea for a T-shirt for him. He liked the idea and wanted me to do a few more, and so I created a few more and finally he suggested that I start my own. It took me about several months for me to believe that I could actually do my own and well, here I am. Ladee Storem: Will you have more designs launching in the future? Leonie: The great thing about iNsaniTees and what my consumers can look forward to is we always want to keep you guessing what are we going to come up with next? Let’s just say line two is currently in production and I believe it will be a even greater success than line one. Ladee Storem: Where can the readers purchase your iNsaniTees T-shirts? Leonie: Right now we’re on line and we have artificially set up with vendors that’ll be carrying my line not only in the US but the east coast, Canada and Internationally. Ladee Storem: Are you excited about models ripping the runway with your designs? Leonie: Absolutely, we have major fashion shows in process for promoting my line and we’re also planning to team up with some of today’s major hair and accessory vendors to give that extra “bang” affect for when we walk the catwalk and of course doing it only as we can we’re providing all original music created especially just for iNsaniTees. Ladee Storem: Name some of the top designers that you admire? Leonie: Wow, there are so many but I would have to say I absolutely love Mark Ecko and Ed Hardy especially Mark Ecko, to me he’s like the premiere of T-shirts he’s been doing it like forever and continues to put out good, quality stuff. I study him like a bible on Fashion. Now Ed Hardy, you can’t walk down any street without seeing an Ed Hardy shirt. He reinvented the T-shirt industry the way it is today by not being afraid to take risks. That’s inspiration to know they paved the way and hey…..I’m trying to learn from these cats and hopefully I can make my own mark with iNsaniTees. Ladee Storem: What makes iNsaniTees so different and unique from the designers today?
