Mental Fitness
Thought or
thinking is a mental process which allows us to
model the world and to deal with it effectively
according to our goals, plans, and desires.
We have no limits! Whatever we think we can do, we
can! It has been proven so many times in the past
with inventions and discoveries. People who achieve
great things believe in themselves and have strong
faith even if they stand alone at times.
Thinking positively takes faith, practice, and
repetition. First we have to honestly believe in
what we think our goals, purpose, and life should
be. It has to come from the soul instead of from
outside influences. If you believe in your thoughts
about your life, those thoughts will become reality.
Practice is necessary because whatever we hold in
our mind consistently is what we will act upon. If
we always practice positive thinking then soon it
becomes second nature and in every situation we have
an optimistic outlook as to why it happened.
Repetition through prayer and meditation connects
our mind, body, and soul to work synergistically to
achieve a desired outcome.
If we can control our thoughts we can control our
future!
Spiritual Fitness
We all have our opinions and beliefs about how the
universe operates or should operate. Sometimes we
change our minds, as we grow and learn more, and
sometimes we remain steadfast in beliefs we know
don’t apply to us because our intimate circle urges
us to. Whatever the case, there is a Higher Power
that is always right, compassionate, wise,
forgiving, loving, and available. All we have to do
is realize that the higher spirit can be with us if
we surrender our own judgments and mindset to that
of a higher will!
God can be the name of our higher power or we can
choose another name. When we surrender all to God we
are releasing our own conventional beliefs and
allowing the higher power to guide us to results
that will benefit the universe as a whole. We
surrender any thoughts of personal satisfaction and
gain and let God control every faucet of our life
and thought process.
When we work in the will of God, everything we need
is provided when we need it. The universe is working
with us to produce results that will nurture the
circle of life. When we work for our own benefit
only, we are limited. We become tired and desperate
hurting the universe in a quest for personal gain.
We must be obedient to the laws that govern the
universe. The Law of Higher Will helps us realize
that God can live within us if we open our hearts to
the evolvement of the universe.
Physical Fitness
10-30
minutes of continuous or interval aerobic activity 3-5 times per week is the
minimum required for health and fitness gains!
We don’t want to do the minimal! We want to do the max! We want maximal gains
and maximal mindset about cardio!
Our goal is to plan, for 10-30 minutes of cardio each day. Yes! No days off!
This will get us in the groove of working out so that it becomes as second
nature as brushing our teeth. We don’t ever plan not to brush! If we forget or
don’t have time we simply accept it and continue with our day until we get
another chance.
The same thing applies to fitness, we have to plan for it every day and if
something happens to disrupt our day we don’t have to worry because one or a
couple of days missed won’t affect your fitness benefit. On the other hand, if
we only plan for three days a week and we miss one of those days we are less
likely to a have a constant groove that encourages us to make that day up and we
end up missing multiple days and losing ground.
Do 10-30 minutes of cardio everyday! |
